Tuber magnatum “Pico”

It's a kind precious. In Abruzzo it's the most diffuse: many industry are in Teramo (Campli, Cesa Castina, Castelli), Chieti (Quadri, Pizzoferrato, Borrello, Roio del Sanaro) and L'Aquila (Marsica, Carsolano and Val Roveto). Harverst period: start october/ end december.

 

Nero pregiato
Tuber melanosporum “Vittadini”

The black truffle prefer chalky soul, bit deep and breach, like Abruzzo aquilano, Valle Peligna and Marsica. It's present and the southern slope of the Maiella and on these eastern of the Gran Sassoand of the Monti Gemelli. It prefer the broad-leaved tree and in particular a roverella tree. Harverst period: half november/ half march

the Scorzone, is define also summer truffle, it's born prevalence under broad-leaved tree also in coastal area. Harverst period: end may / end october
